Building on the national Love/Hate campaign for New Balance, Fuse was tasked to create imagery for the brand’s guerilla marketing activation on college campuses across the country.
Fuse created a series of print collateral with a careful eye for applications and placements that were both unique and heavily trafficked. This included magnets, sidewalk stickers, oversized posters, pizza boxes and coasters. Armed with copy that would pique a college students’ interest, each of these elements led with a large, impactful type treatment that directly engaged the audience.
The Love/Hate campaign had a direct impact on students across the country, drove more than 130,000 people to the accompanying sweepstakes and the URL featured in the collateral became the number one referral to newbalance.com. The campaign also recently took home the highest honors from Event Marketer magazine - the 2009 Grand Ex Award.
