ALLI (NBC & MTV) DEW TOUR PRODUCTION CASE STUDY_

In 2005 NBC approached Fuse with the challenge to conceptualize and produce trophies for their Dew Tour competitions. Unlike traditional trophies found in most sports, NBC wanted a series of trophies that captured the raw and edgy feel of action sports. Fuse designed a trophy given to each winning athlete at each stop of the event series. Using the property’s “star” as a creative influence, Fuse produced a unique trophy that showed a star rising from the base representing the athlete as a “rising star”.

In addition, Fuse designed the overall tour winners’ trophy -- the “Dew Cup”. Taking style cues found in various action sports, the Dew Cup was produced from brushed steel and is the ultimate actions sports prize.

Results from the project include media coverage in ESPN the Magazine, which ranked the Dew Cup as one of the most recognizable trophies in all of sports.
